Arcona 50 – Dancing Queen

The flagship of the Arcona fleet. The Arcona 50 is ideal for safe and comfortable long distance performance cruising. In a first for Arcona, the 50 features twin rudders providing more control in the water and a dinghy garage for convenient cruising. Having been kept and maintained at the Arcona Yard in Henån, Orust, the yacht is in pristine condition.

She has a mast from John Mast, with black anodised aluminum finish, and a black e-glass furling boom from MainFurl. The sail wardrobe includes UK Sailmakers Carbon X-drive main and furling jib, Code Zero and A2 asymmetric spinnaker.

Featuring Flexiteek with gray caulking on both deck and cockpit, Carbonautica carbon steering wheels and German main sheet system. The yacht has a newly replaced Yanmar 110 HP engine, and a Fischer Panda generator.

With a light oak interior, white corian counter tops, teak floor and beige gray cushions the interior is airy and inviting.

Lynda Sue

The Arcona 435, (2019 European Performance Cruiser of the year) was made for those sailors who want to race one weekend and go cruising the next without a lot of sail changes or fuss.

The Arcona 435 offers a palatial cockpit, twin helm wheels, a very accessible mainsheet traveler, primary winches and a clever cockpit table that disappears and stows in the cockpit sole! She is equipped with Harken primary winches and a Harken electric main halyard winch. Her large dodger provides great visibility and protection, but can also be lowered into the dodger dam enclosure, forward of the companionway. Her interior is bright and cheerful with full galley, Nav center, main salon, settees, twin aft guest cabins, day head and owners cabin with dedicated head and shower.

Arcona Yachts sailed this 435 to the USA for the Annapolis Boat Show in 2020 where she was sold to her current owner on the Great Lakes. “Lynda Sue” has been very well maintained and sailed lightly out of Chicago. A brand new Yanmar Diesel engine & Saildrive unit has just been installed in this vessel by Manitowoc Marine in Wi.
