Congratulations Henrik Tangen and crew on board their 14 day old Arcona 385, Ibb, for securing fantastic results already! Following their success in Faerdean Seilas, last week they won the Norwegian Championship in ORCi class A and B.
This year’s Norgesmesterskap for ORCi boats was a regatta with tricky conditions, with winds up to 27 knots on Saturday 18th June and somewhat less on Sunday 19th June.
The skilled organisers in Tønsberg Seilforening managed to have six races where especially the winning boat, Ibb, the 38foot Arcona 385, with owner Henrik Tangen and Dag Usterud as helmsman, did really well. Seilmagasinet said, “The smallest boat in the fleet is hard to beat when course racing…!”
