Stockholm will host their first boat show of 2024 in March and Arcona Yachts is proud to display the new award-winning Arcona 50 by Jeppesen & Pons and the electric Arcona 415e there. Allt för Sjön boat show will take place 7-10 and 14-17 March 2024.

The Arcona 50 was awarded European Yacht of the Year 2024 in the Luxury Cruiser category in January 2024. Often referred to as the Oscars of the sailing world, all of the yachts that were shortlisted were tested thoroughly by 12 journalists from Europe’s finest sailing magazines in autumn 2023 and the Arcona 50 received plenty of praise.
After testing the Arcona 50 luxury performance cruiser, Joakim Hermansson from Praktiskt Båtägande said, “The Arcona 50… behaves in an exemplary well-balanced manner in the entire wind range. And everything is so well thought out: The cockpit works, all the stuff is in the right place, you don’t trip, you don’t hit your knuckles or elbows… It is noticeable that it is experienced people who have developed the boat.”
Michael Good of Yacht Germany magazine said “The high-quality construction creates peace and stability. Below deck, one thing is particularly noticeable: the peace and quiet on the move and during manoeuvres. This is due to the perfect insulation…but also to the first-class workmanship and the high-quality construction of the hull and deck.”
Toby Hodges, Yachting World, said “I had two good trials on the boat in largely Force 3 and 4 winds, using a mix of jib, Code 0 and gennaker on various angles and in some swell, and can confirm this is a design that backs up its looks and price tag with performance.”
With her beautiful lines, modern hull shape, open transom, more accessible stowage space and increased light, the Arcona 415e with Oceanvolt electric propulsion continues the tradition of her predecessor as a quality performance cruiser, built with superb attention to detail, as always.
The Arcona 415e has an Oceanvolt Servoprop 15kW electric propulsion system, with variable pitch propeller technology and comes with a 23.2kWh battery pack. A 15kW electric motor is the equivalent of a 50hp diesel engine on our 40-43ft yachts.
Simon Rosier of SE Yachts, was thoroughly impressed with how the Arcona 415 handled. He said, “She’s built beautifully and sails beautifully too. In only 5-10 knots of wind, we were making 7-8 knots (up to 24˚ apparent) and the 415 still felt totally capable and light on the wheel. We had four seasons in one day on the water and when the breeze built, the 415 took the change in pace in her stride. I’m always impressed with the sailing ability of Arconas and my first impressions of the 415 were excellent.”
