Arcona appoints new Finance Director

Arcona is strengthening its organisation and is pleased to welcome Sara Ekström as the new Finance Director for the brand, and Orust Quality Yachts.

“We are in an expansive phase with high ambitions, which places demands on both strategy and accurate financial governance. Sara brings valuable experience from a rapidly growing industry, along with a modern approach to financial management and process development. We are very pleased that she has chosen to join us,” says Fredrik Malmqvist, CEO of Arcona and Orust Quality Yachts.

Sara most recently served as CFO at Nordpolen Energi AB, a company operating in the solar energy sector. During her three years there, she worked with both strategic and operational responsibilities in a fast-moving and dynamic environment.

“I am driven by development and new challenges, so I am really looking forward to learning the industry and getting to know the companies in detail. My goal is to contribute with my experience and competence to help further develop and streamline the business – and in doing so create long-term value for both the company and its customers,” says Sara.

After her first weeks in the role, one impression stands out:
