Marcus Jungell will join as new Sales Director for Orust Quality Yacht Group (OQY Group), which comprises of Arcona Yachts, Najad Yachts of Sweden and the service yard, Orust Yacht Service. Marcus will join the Group on 15th January 2024 and take the lead for sales of Arcona as well as Najad Yachts. Marcus has a strong background from several senior leadership positions within sales and business development in the yachting industry, mainly with sailing yachts, including many years at both Nautor’s Swan, Baltic Yachts and most recently at X Shore, manufacturer of electric boats.

He brings a wealth of international sales experience that both Arcona and Najad will benefit from, and I am sure that Marcus will help us accelerate our growth and take our brands to the next level.”
The Group has made significant investments throughout 2022 and 2023 including the acquisition of Orust Yacht Service, Najad’s move back to Henån on the island of Orust, the build of a new showroom and the acquisition of Sail Yard, Arcona Yachts production yard. 2023 has also seen the launch of the luxurious new Arcona 50 by Jeppesen & Pons, the launch of the elegant new Najad 451 CC and the announcement of the forthcoming Najad 451 AC. These investments by the Group enable sales, production, after sales, service, and storage to be available to new and existing customers – a full-scale end-to-end solution.
Over 2023 the Arcona dealer network has more than doubled with exclusive dealers in the UK, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and brand partners in France, Hungary, Italy, Spain, and now Belgium. Eddy Verbinnen of Escape Yachting is the new agent in Belgium, in association with VMG Yachting – Arcona Benelux dealers, and the Arcona team is delighted to welcome him.
To streamline the operation within OQY Group, the management team of OQY Group is being restructured with the addition of Marcus Jungell as Sales Director. Marcus Lindström is Head of Production at Najad Yachts and now Orust Yacht Service too. Magnus Larsson is now Head of Production at Arcona Yachts. Urban Lagnéus has left Arcona. The Group thank him for his work and wish him every success for the future. Fredrik Malmqvist will continue in his role as CEO of the OQY Group including both Arcona & Najad.
