This year’s first regatta in Swedish Sailing National League was held in a sunny Skanör over the weekend of 14-15 May 2022.
Arcona CEO Urban Lagnéus and Area Sales Manager Magnus Lundgren represented SFS and took a third place in the first of four regattas in the Swedish Sailing National League.
At the end of May they will go to Vilamoura Portugal to defend the club in the Champions League that they qualified for due to their 3rd place overall in 2021.
Urban said, “It was a bit of struggle in the final race after penalties at the start and clearly last so we dropped second place and came third with the smallest possible margin from almost slipping down to 6th. Overall, we are happy to have sailed for three windy days with only four people on board when the others had five. Great team on board with Magnus Lundgren, Johanna Thiringer and Emily Cui.

Urban and Magnus represented Sweden together in Barcelona sailing in the 470 class at the 1992 Olympic games. Racing together and working together – a winning combination!
