Take a look inside the Arcona 50
The premiere of the Arcona 50 in Ellös at Orust Sailboat Show with Open Yard went well and it is wonderful to meet so many sailors in our home country at the show. With her clean flush decks and beautiful attention to detail, the new Arcona 50 by Jeppesen & Pons is certainly turning heads!
Below deck minimalist Scandinavian elegance permeates every detail. The interior is made in Khaya Mahogany and can be upgraded to Oak (pictured). As seen in superyachts, but new to Arcona, the woodwork is cored to maximise weight-saving without compromising on the aesthetics.
The galley has lots of practical stowage, a gimballed cooker with oven and a generously-sized sink and fridge. The standard galley layout enables easy access to the L-shaped saloon seating. There is the option to choose an alternative layout with U-shaped seating and an additional worktop space (as pictured).
The saloon table has an additional seat to starboard that can be moved and locked into position. This could double up as a footrest or coffee table for those sat on the starboard side settee. Perfect after a day on the water.
The starboard-facing chart table enables easy contact to those on deck and the seat fits neatly below the desk when not in use. A great area to also be able to work from.
The Arcona 50 sleeps six in three cabins with plenty of storage and space to enjoy. The owners’ cabin features a kingsize bed, plenty of clever stowage solutions and an en-suite with a separate shower.
The two aft cabins have double berths as standard and can be upgraded to a convertible twin berth configuration. There is an additional heads with a separate shower area too.
Lots of natural light flows from the large hull windows and flush hatches which creates the feeling of more space. The lighting is fully controllable with many clever features to dim lights or enable you to charge your electronics easily.
